Jess Dods
Career Coach and Organizational Performance Consultant: Jess Dods Coaching

Professional Biography:
Jess Dods is an experienced and effective leadership development coach and organization consultant who combines business, coaching, and international senior management experience to produce results for his clients. He has provided coaching and consulting around the world to organizations for over 14 years, working in- person, via phone, and Skype. Jess brings deep skills to help individuals to perform at their best in their jobs, including interpersonal skills enhancement. For managers and executives who want to enhance their leadership skills, Jess develops and implements customized programs to ensure results and return on investment. He works with senior leaders as they assimilate into new positions. Jess has trained with Coaches Training Institute and The Harvard Maclean Institute of Coaching in Medicine and Leadership. He is certified and experienced in the interpretation of the Personnel Decisions International PROFILOR® 360 feedback instruments (PDI), Strong Interest Inventory, DiSC, Myers- Briggs Type Indicator® and several other assessment and development instruments. Jess combines a MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and 20 years of global business operations and senior management experience. He has held corporate operating and managerial experience with Fortune 100 companies in Latin America, the Middle East, and a major New York bank. He held the position of Senior Manager Consultant with the Arthur D. Little consulting firm, in the Global Strategy and Organization Group. He brings an understanding of individual and organizational behaviors, and an effective, structured approach to optimizing performance at individual and organizational levels. Jess has lived/worked in over 15 countries and has worked with individuals from 21 countries.

How do you spend most of your time at your job?
Jess helps people from all over the world to get clarity on their careers and how to set and achieve goals in their work.

What roadblocks did you encounter along your journey to find the right career?
Jess says he has been in the wrong job more than once. He also lacked clear goals and direction for much of his professional life until around 1997.

What are you most proud of in regard to your career history?
Jess is most proud of starting his own coaching practice in 2002 and developing it for many years.

Personal Biography: Jess currently lives in a sugar maple grove in Southampton, Massachusetts with his wife Pamela, an accomplished artist, and their dog, Molly.
