Professional Biography:
Darran serves as Outdoor Education Instructor at Central Wyoming College and is located in Lander, WY.
Prior to joining Central Wyoming College, Darran served as Program Coordinator and a Senior Instructor for NOLS Professional Training.
At present, Darran is a member of the Association for Outdoor Recreation Education (AEE) and the Association for Outdoor Recreation Education (AORE).
Darran attended Prescott College where he studied Adventure Education and earned a Masters degree in 2007.
Darran's core expertise includes Outdoor Adventure Education, Outdoor Recreation and Outdoor Leadership.
Darran published NOLS Wilderness Navigation, and wrote his thesis on organizational partnerships in Adventure Ed. Part of his current position is managing the partnership between NOLS and Central Wyoming College.

Personal Biography:
Darran enjoys Mountaineering, Mountain Biking and Adventure Racing.

A: I am full time faculty in the Arts and Sciences Department at CWC. I manage 4 academic degree programs related to Outdoor Education and Outdoor Recreation. I lecture and lead wilderness trips involving climbing, mountaineering, and back country skiing.
